Duty to provide information pursuant to § 36 VSBG

The Immobilienverband Deutschland IVD e.V. has set up an arbitration board in accordance with the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG) with the participation of the consumer association Verband Privater Bauherren e.V. (VPB). Among other things, disputes between consumers and members of the IVD can be settled before the arbitration board in an out-of-court arbitration procedure. FRANK is a member of the IVD and, in accordance with Section 3 (8) of the IVD statutes, is obliged to submit a written statement to the ombudsman’s office if it initiates proceedings at the request of a consumer. Further information on the arbitration board can be found at http://www.ombudsmann-immobilien.net. FRANK does not take part in arbitration proceedings at other arbitration boards.
